I was on the most recent Earthwatch Expedition (18 Jan-26 Jan 2014) to Playa Grande, Costa Rica and saw my first Leatherback turtle the same night you were there filming (22 Jan). You captured us working the turtle and nest (I am on my stomach counting the eggs and inserting the Thermocup in to the nest). I am so very grateful for the picture that I can keep and show for an extraordinary experience! Feeling her breathe as she laid her eggs left me speechless. Thank you for capturing and documenting such mangnificent creatures and helping to tell their story for the world who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity!
