Dr. Kip Evans
Producer, expedition leader
With over two decades of experience, Kip has explored the ocean and participated in conservation efforts through photography projects for documentaries. He has headed and participated in over fifty expeditions around the world in addition to working in a series of National Geographic Society projects. In 2008 Kip joined Mission Blue Foundation as Photography and Expedition Director and has worked on documenting Hope Spots, special areas in need of protection around the world.
Film festivals have featured Kip’s work around the world. He has contributed to the cause of awareness by providing his films to mainstream television networks such as NBC, CBS, CNN, PBS, National Geographic, and Discovery. His photos have appeared in numerous books, exhibitions, travel guides, advertisements and magazines.
Kip has also worked as marine biologist, expedition leader, and educator for the National Marine Sanctuary Program. Kip has registered over 1,300 dives, especially during investigation and photography expeditions.
